Vic Park Farmers Market

Runs Sundays 8-12noon, at John MacMillan Park. Dogs are most welcome on a lead. Make sure you stop at the Go Fetch Bakery stall, they have a big range of preservative free and gluten free dog treats including pup cakes, carob chocolate frogs and even a doggie icecream sandwich perfect for a cool treat on a hot day



Whitfords Animal Exercise Beach

Located just off Whitfords Avenue, this is a nice long beach for a walk, is a popular spot for meeting other dogs and their owners and a lovely place for a swim. There are full shower facilities, with lower showers to clean off your dog and a water bowl near the shower block.

Dog wash and DD’s Mobile Coffee Van can be found here on the weekends – seating and tables are set up so you can enjoy a coffee and a light snack


Yarra Vista Dog Park Jandakot

Yarra Vista Dog Park Jandakot is located on Dean St and has a lovely bush setting. It's fully fenced with dog exercise equipment and dog drinking facilities.

It's a popular place to meet other dogs and owners, you can connect with other users of the park on the Yarra Vista Dog Park facebook page


Mrs Herberts Park Claremont

Located off Victoria Ave Claremont, this is a quiet shady park with a off the lead dog exercise area to the west of the park. It's a beautiful long sandy beach walk and lovely spot for dogs and humans to enjoy a swim

BBQs and toilets at the park so you can stay and enjoy a bbq – however your dog must be on a lead in the park area


Pet Lovers Cafe Maylands

Located on Guildford Rd, this café was designed especially for pets with indoor and outdoor dining. There is a fenced section at the back for letting your dog socialise before or after dining.

Check out the Doggie Menu so your dog can dine with you. It includes bark-a-lattes, doggie tasting plates, pup cakes even a doggie high tea, and there is a big fountain for your dog to drink from too.
