Mofflin Reserve Claremont features a small fenced dog exercise area with plenty of shade and seating as well as a separate fenced kids playground.
The reserve is located on the corner of Mofflin Avenue and Stubbs Terrace (which is quite a busy road) and the fence around the grassed area is only around 1.2 metres high, so this park is better suited to smaller dogs and dogs that are unlikely to try to jump the fence.
Entry to the dog exercise area is through a single gate where you can also admire the dog catching a ball sculpture and you can also find a water fountain, complete with doggy bubbler at ground level.
A picnic bench with seating is found both inside and outside the dog exercise area. Bench seats are also located along the footpath that runs parallel to the park.
If you have kids they will love having a play here on the playground that is also fully fenced but separate from the dog exercise area.
Mofflin Avenue is a no verge or road parking area, so you'll need to walk to this park from somewhere locally, or there is some free 30 minute parking at the shopping complex on Ashton Avenue, that's within close walking distance.
Mofflin Avenue Park is a nice little park to take your dog for some off the lead exercise or if you have kids that want to have a play too.
