Lake Walks
Enjoy a scenic around the lake walk at one of these beautiful Perth lake walk destinations. Due to the wildlife that inhabits these areas, lake walks are generally on the lead, but please check signage at each location carefully and be sure to abide by the rules to the protect birds and wild life that live in Perth's beautiful lakes.
Lake Gwelup
Beautiful round the lake walk, partly bitumised and partly bush track, this is another lovely off the lead lake walk. Please be mindful of the water quality warnings around this area - and keep your dog away from the water.
Jackadder Lake Reserve Woodlands
Enjoy an off the lead walk around Jackadder Lake ( ~ 1km round). There are lots of water birds here so supervise your dog closely off the lead or consider walking your dog on the lead.
Lake Monger Wembley
A longer on the lead walk around 3.5km around. Lots of water birds and wildlife around the lake, with black swans popular at this lake.
Bayswater Riverside Gardens
Not quite a lake but a narrow section of the Swan River with nice beach for your dog to enjoy a splash and big off the lead park to run around.
Subiaco Common Play Space
Beautiful park for a short round the lake walk on the lead. Park also includes a dog exercise area
