Bells Rapids

After being so good at breakfast it was time to give Arrow a much deserved free run, at Stop #2 Bells Rapids. It's just 10-15 mins drive from Taylors Art & Coffee House. The amount of water here depends on the time of year.

We visited in April and there was a nice steady stream of water so Arrow enjoyed a wade in the water. There is a 5.5km off the lead round walk.

Edgecombe Brothers Winery & Restaurant

After a walk at Bells Rapids, we'd worked up an appetite so it was time for a late lunch at Stop #3 Edgecombe Bros, approx 10-15mins drive from Bells Rapids. Before we'd even looked at the menu's a dog bowl was brought out for Arrow, and he loved walking through the vineyards while we waited for our meals.

They even brought out a piece of fish from the kitchen for him - so he got to enjoy a nice feed too. They really love having dogs here, they are made to feel so welcome, and there's lots of room to take them for a walk on a lead, and of course the view overlooking the vineyards and dam is stunning.
