Dianella Dog Park is a fully fenced dog exercise area with a big and small dog section, agility equipment and beautiful bushlands to explore.
There are two separate sections, they are not marked as such, but there is a smaller section suitable for smaller dogs and a larger section for bigger dogs.
Both sections are fully fenced, double gated, have natural shade, seating and a water fountain.
The larger area also has a picnic shelter, large sand pit and agility equipment.
Outside of the dog exercise areas is the Dianella Regional Open Space, with a lovely bush walk to enjoy around the Quenda Habitat Area. This area is signposted off the lead, but under control. There is a lot of wildlife around so if your dog is a chaser we recommend you keep your dog on a lead as I did with Arrow.
There is a 1.2km round walk along the path that goes around the Quenda Habitat Area and other sections of the Dianella Regional Open Space.
There is a fenced pathway that goes through the centre of the habitat to make your walk a little shorter and to give you more of an opportunity to see if you can spot a Quenda.
Wandering back towards the Dianella Dog Park is a beautiful lake you can walk around also.
If you are looking for somewhere to enjoy an off the lead, fenced play or somewhere to enjoy a nature walk, or perhaps both, Dianella Dog Park and Regional Open Space is for you. Please note that the gates to the carpark are closed late at night well after dark (around 9pm) and are opened again early in the morning. There is no night time lighting at the park.
