Bishop Road Reserve Dalkeith

Dog Exercise Area | Picnic Table | Seating | Water Fountain | River Access | Shelter By The RIver | Small Carpark

Bishop Road Reserve Dalkeith is a beautiful elevated reserve with stunning views over the Swan River complete with access to a sandy beach, so you can enjoy an off the lead play and walk. I discovered this spot on the way home from a meeting, and didn't have Arrow with me. I pulled over to get a picture of the rainbow and realised what an amazing place it would be to bring him. Definitely next time.

At the top of the reserve is a big grassed area with a picnic table and a couple of seats, so you can sit or bring a picnic and enjoy this magnificent view.

Alongside the reserve is an sealed access walkway to the beach. Here you can find a water fountain and dog bowl too.

You can walk up and down this beautiful beach in both directions and the water is lovely and clear, perfect for a splash too.

This little feature we love the best. There is a little shelter and seat right on the beach, so if you get a patch of rain you can shelter, sit and watch the rain pass by, then continue your walk when the rain passes.

Whether you are looking for somewhere nice to sit and enjoy the scenery and throw your dog a ball, or enjoy a long walk along the beach, Bishop Road Reserve is perfect, and with the shelter on the beach you can enjoy this spot all year round.
