Off The Lead Park * Toilets * Good River Swimming Spot * Water Fountain * Fenced Playground * Exercise Stations * BBQs * Picnic Tables * Coffee Van (Seasonal)
Bayswater Riverside Gardens is a huge off the lead park alongside the Swan River, making this a great place for a run around and splash by the river all year round.
There is plenty of parking and the carpark is located in between two sections of the park that are designated off the lead. You can enjoy a run around on the grass or follow the pathways around the gardens if you want to enjoy a bit of a walk yourself or have a go on the exercise stations found around the park. (Just note; if you wander towards Garrett Bridge, the AP Hines Reserve area requires dogs be on a lead).
It's a popular spot for dogs so there will no doubt be someone to socialise with during your visit. There are picnic tables and small gazebo's spread around the park so you can sit and enjoy a packed lunch.
If you have kids there is a fully fenced playground. There is seating on the outside too, so if you want to sit with your dog to supervise the kids you can do this from the outside.
During the warmer months you can also find the mobile retro caravan cafe Cool Breeze Cafe here in the carpark. On the weekends you can now also find the Riverside Canteen food trucks on the weekend. They have dog treats you can purchase, along with hot and cold drinks and a range of light snacks. The toilet blocks is located close to here alongside the carpark.
Bayswater Riverside Gardens is a beautiful place to exercise your dog and socialise with other dog owners all year round, but especially comes to life in the warmer months with the Cool Breeze Cafe making itself home here.
